Since 1974, (BCLC) has been entertaining British Columbians with exciting lottery, casino and bingo games that are fun, fair, and good for BC. Since 1985, we have generated $7.2 billion for programs that directly benefit British Columbians in areas such as education and health care, social programs and municipal projects. Millions of dollars in prizes have been won and thousands of British Columbians are better off because over 5,800 charitable and community organizations, delivering programs and services that enrich our communities, share in the profits from gaming revenue through government gaming grants. These groups work to provide valuable community services in the areas of arts, culture and sport, public safety, human and social services, parent advisory councils in schools, and major capital projects.
